This policy explains how Neon Landing, a calm air-traffic game for iPhone and iPad, handles your information. Neon Landing is built to need as little of your data as possible. It has no accounts, no ads, and no advertising trackers.
The short version: the only data we collect is anonymous analytics, used to understand how the game is played so we can improve it. We do not collect your name, location, contacts, or content, we do not show ads, and we never see your payment details.
Who we are
Neon Landing is made by Hawaiian Shirt Studios LLC, based in New Hampshire, USA. We are the developer of the app and the data controller for the limited data described here. You can reach us any time at .
We distribute the app worldwide, including in the European Union, where we act as a "trader" under the EU Digital Services Act. The company name and contact email in this policy serve as our trader contact information.
Data we collect, and why
We collect very little, and only to understand how the game is used so we can make it better.
Anonymous analytics (TelemetryDeck)
We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics provider, to collect anonymous usage data. This is product-interaction data, which includes:
- Screen views
- Level starts, completions, and failures
- Daily-puzzle plays
- Settings changes
- Paywall (store) views
- Purchase-flow events: started, completed, failed, and restored
It also uses an anonymous, device-level identifier, only to count unique installs.
We use this data for analytics only, to see how the game is used and to improve it. It is not linked to your identity, and it is not used for tracking or advertising. TelemetryDeck does not collect IP addresses, names, emails, or advertising identifiers.
Apart from this anonymous analytics, we do not collect any other data for our own analytics.
What we do not collect
To be clear about what Neon Landing does not do:
- No name, email, phone number, or address, unless you choose to email us.
- No location, contacts, health data, photos, browsing history, search history, or your content.
- No advertising networks, no ad tracking, no advertising identifier (IDFA), and no App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- No payment or financial information. The single in-app purchase (the "Unlock All Features" unlock) is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card or bank details.
iCloud sync
Neon Landing can sync your own progress (levels, records, trophies, and settings) through Apple iCloud, so it carries across your devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account, under your Apple ID. It stays in your Apple account, and we cannot access it. Apple's handling of iCloud is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Your controls and choices
If you email support, you voluntarily share your email address and whatever is in your message. We use that only to reply to you.
Third-party services
Neon Landing relies on a few providers. Each has its own privacy practices:

- Apple App Store and StoreKit (delivers the app and processes the in-app purchase). See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
If you are in the EU, the EEA, or the UK, we rely on these legal bases under the GDPR:
- Legitimate interest, for anonymous analytics, to understand and improve the game. Because the data is anonymous, the impact on your privacy is minimal.
- Contract, to provide the app and its features to you, including the in-app purchase handled by Apple.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data:
- EU, EEA, and UK (GDPR): the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): the rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of in that sense.
Please note: our analytics is anonymous and is not linked to your identity. Because of that, we cannot identify you within the data, or find, retrieve, or delete one person's analytics records. Data retention
We keep anonymous analytics only for as long as it is useful for understanding trends, and it stays anonymous the entire time, so it cannot be tied to you. TelemetryDeck's own retention is described in its privacy policy. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as we need it to help you, then delete it within a reasonable period. iCloud data is held in your own Apple account and is controlled by you and Apple.
International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and our analytics may be processed in the United States. If you use the app from the EU, the EEA, the UK, or elsewhere, your anonymous analytics data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where data protection law requires it, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards. Apple handles iCloud and App Store data under its own global infrastructure and safeguards.
Children's privacy
Neon Landing is intended for a general audience. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because our analytics is anonymous, it does not identify anyone, including children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page, and any significant change will be made clear. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
